When you go away on an exotic vacation, romance is sure to ensue. Planning your couples’ trip ahead of time helps you to ensure you have some fun and romantic activities in store. No matter where you go, you will be sure to find at least a few things to do with your sweetheart that will leave a lasting impression. Your vacation can be as relaxing or as upbeat as you like, and you can easily find exciting and romantic activities to suit any budget.

Even if the weather doesn’t cooperate, there are still a number of romantic things you can do on a your romantic weekend escapes and full-length vacations. Check out these suggestions for fun, relaxing, exciting, and romantic things you can enjoy on your vacation.

Explore. Go for a hike to a romantic waterfall or other stunning landmark. Check out caves and scour the beaches for the most perfect seashell. Take a walk along the beach during sunset, enjoying the views and each others’ company. Don’t forget to hold hands!

Wine and Dine. Enjoy a romantic dinner on the beach or at a fancy resort restaurant. Have your breakfast in bed or on your balcony. Enjoy mimosas in the morning and champagne at night. Share a bottle of wine on the beach. Consider a picnic at one of the local attractions. Visit a local winery and enjoy your own wine tasting. You can find so many romantic things to do involving food and wine.

Relax. Sit back and enjoy the sunset from a soft blanket, holding hands or cuddling and sharing a bottle of wine or champagne. Slow dance under the stars, enjoy a couples’ massage, or treat each other to your own full body massages. Take a nap together on the beach (wearing sunscreen!), in your room, or on a hammock. Soak a little in the resort’s hot tub or go for a dip in the pool or in the ocean.

Enjoy this special time with your soul mate and let your cares drift away. Take advantage of shorter weekend getaways for couples as well as nice, long vacations for two. Discuss your romantic plans to ensure you both have a say in the activities, or plan a special romantic activity based on how well you know your significant other.
