Choosing the Right Coffee Maker For Your Schedule

All coffee drinkers have different criteria for the coffee and the coffee machines that they buy. If any general rule can be drawn, it would be that everyone simply wants coffee that fits into their daily schedules. Whether you are the kind of person that brews a pot that you drink all day, or if you just want a quick cup in the morning, here are the things to think about when choosing a coffee machine.
Quantity of coffee is one of the biggest questions you need to answer for yourself. The traditional drip machine can brew anywhere from 2 cups to 12 cups of coffee at once. These machines are great if you are going to take a thermos of coffee to work with you, or if you work at home and can continually pour more coffee throughout the day.
But there are also coffee machines that brew coffee a cup at a time as well, which may be more convenient for you if you have the machine at work or if you only need one cup a day. You can get a Mr. Coffee or Viking coffee maker that brews a single cop — you just put your cup into the machine, pour in a little coffee and water, and wait 45 seconds. The beauty of these machines is that they do not have a pot, so there is much less cleanup to do once you are done. This is also great if you know that you are probably not going to clean the machine is much as you should.
Quality of coffee is a factor, but honestly, you can get better quality coffee by actually buying better quality coffee than worrying about the machine that you brew it in. Sure, a drip machine is not the most efficient way to brew coffee. But poor quality coffee in a luxury coffee maker is still going to taste like poor quality coffee. If your daily schedule requires you to just to brew a pot in the morning and be done with it, then you probably shouldn’t worry about it. Just try some nicer quality coffees and you will strike gold sooner or later.
With more and more reports coming out saying that coffee is good for you, it’s time to make sure your coffee maker is working with your daily schedule and not against it. Find a coffee maker that will match your needs and you will never be short of more to drink.
