Camping is something that most people think about doing one day. However, for some people they never take that chance and make the dream happen. Though, everyone should try camping just once so that they can say that they have had the experience. For those that are approaching their first time of camping, they should realize that there are tons of tips and advice that people are going to give them. However, when it comes down to it, it just simply takes some common sense and over time the experience level of the person helps out tremendously. But, for those that are wanting to learn everything that they can so that they can be prepared, then there are a few tips to learn.

First off, if you are camping for the first time and do not have your own gear, see if you can borrow a friends. There is no need to spend all the money on the gear especially if you are not sure that you are going to like it yet or not. A good waterproof tent and cheap air beds will help you on your way. More times than not a friend is going to love to lend the equipment in hopes that you will fall in love with camping and they will have a new camping buddy.

For those that are going camping with a first time group, then they all need to sit down and map their course. They then need to stay on course. Do not stray from your plans since it could be easy for the campers to get lost. You will also want to make sure that someone is termed the leader. If everyone is a beginning camper then you are just wanting to choose someone that is going to be in charge so that you do not have too many people trying to lead. This is a good way to lead to many arguments. The person the group chooses is based on who they respect and who they believe could handle the job.

In addition since this is your first time of camping you will want to make sure that you have everything that you could possibly need. This includes the first aid kid, bug spray and other objects. Many seasoned campers will get away with not carrying everything plus the kitchen sink, however, for those that are first time campers, it is better to be over prepared rather than under prepared. It is at least going to allow you to be more comfortable while on the trail and camping for the first time.
